I picked out a TC33D at my local dealer. I can buy it tomorrow and cash in on the December rebates or I can wait untill next week and see if the rebates and financing get better. My dealer is claiming that he does'nt know if the rebates will go away in January or if they will get better. Financing terms are subject to change Jan 1 also. The deal being offered is Tc33d, loader, heavy duty bucket, R4 industrial tires, 4x4, Hydro, $17,700. Any thoughts? Jerry.

Two questions. (1) Did the interest rates change? (2) Did your research indicate that $17,700 was a good price for the package (Tc33d, loader, heavy duty bucket, R4 industrial tires, 4x4, Hydro)? I am interested in exactly that same package and I'm trying to determine what is a fair price. Thanks. ....

Ralph, I decided to wait until mid January to make the purchase. I got three prices in december. $19,100, $17,750, and $17,700. I have heard tales of better deals but I wonder if they are true. I don't know if interest rates have gone up, but I do know that NH has issued a 2% price increase to all new orders. Old stock on the dealer lot should not be affected. A dealer told me on Jan 2, that rebates are not as good anymore either. He said add 5% to the deal he offered last month. I will be shopping around! ....

MrWurm,
That sounds like a few hundred dollars better than I was able to get on a 2000 model early in 2000. I purchased a TC29d and the SS on mine was about the same price as the 4hp extra the 33 has. At the time, there was a $400 rebate on the tc29. Hope that helps. ....
