I have a bx1500 and just purchased a 5' rear grader blade to use primarily for moving snow. We don't usually get much snow here, maybe only a couple feet a year, but enough to nead to clear the driveway. Every couple of years we seem to get a storm that dumps 1-2 feet all at once. Anyway, a blower is a pain because I have a gravel driveway and a front blade is WAY too expensive for the amount of use it will get. So... the rear blade was a cost effective alternative that I can also use in the summer for landscaping. The problem is that I can't get the blade completely vertical. If I extend the top link far enough to make the blade angle straight up and down, there is no room to lift. The arms are already at the top of their travel. Any ideas?

If you bought it as a package from a dealer he should have known better, and if that is the case maybe you can return it for something that fits.
Rankin makes a series of implements specifically for this class of tractor. Gearmore markets similar or maybe the same products.
Go to rankineqco.com and type 'sub-compact' into the search engine in the upper left corner, then go to the 'series 100' page. The blade you need is there and you will notice it is built a lot closer to the ground.
