Thoughts on a Kubota L35 TBL

Looking at purchasing a L35 to remove underground fuel oil tanks for residential properties. I don't want to purchase a larger machine like a case, because I only have a 1 ton to pull the tractor. Any comments on the L35 loader/backhoe? Something in between that may work? Thanks for your comments.

My thought is that the reach of the hoe might not be enough -- to efficientlyexcavate around buried tanks and to lift tanks out of the ground and onto thevehicle you'll use to cart them away. You'll have about half the HP of theCase and probably half the reach and weight, as well. I have no idea how large the oiltanks you're removing are, but it seems to me they wouldn't have to be toobig to overwhelm the L35. -Ken ....

I agree. Reach & lifting power is a factor. Have you considered the "R" series Kubotas or a Mini - X ????Jim ....

WE HAVE A L35 its very strong medium machine,weight about 6000 lb.backhoe has 9 ft. reach.For the work you describe I sugest the JCB 210sit has 10 or12 ft. backhoe weight about 10000 lb. 60 hp. 4x4 4w steerthese came out in 92, best used price ive seen is $21000 Florida dealeralso, I brought home my new BOOMER 33D yesterday.
