My husband is looking at an 1980's 20HP Kubota L185, 2WD with 1800 hours. It has a hyd. front blade & a 60" belt drive belly mower. (Which he may scrap) The seller has a rear mower for $980. The engine looks clean, has turf tires. Seller is asking $5,500. Any advice would help. Thanks

According to THE BOOK (see below), the tractor alone is worth anwhere from $3,700 for a 1980 "F" (farm standard) model in fair condition to $$5,810 for a "DT" (front wheel assist) model in premium shape. ....

anissa, try the link below to Tractortips.com and you might find a little information. They show that to be a 17hp (12.5 PTO hp). Probably a good little tractor, but the price seems a bit high to me for a 2WD that small. ....
