Can anyone help me with some information? I'm trying to find historical prices...say 1970 for a compact Kubota and a comparable compact North American manufactured tractor (Deere, etc). I'm writing a study on the effects of exchange rates on establishing market dominance. In this case, it is a well known story that the North American manufacturers ignored the compact tractor market for years and Kubota established itself very well. I'm wondering if the North American manufactures could have done anything about Kubota if they had been paying more attention.

Intertec's Used Tractor Price Guide is a good source for this information. Lists all years and models for about a dozen foreign and domestic manufacturers, including new and used pricing, engine specs, gvw, etc. Find it at your local bookstore, or order from Amazon via the following link:
