hello.
after the glow plug light goes out I turn key to start and the
engine engages. if I apply fuel the engine accelerates.
the minute I let key back to run position the engine stops.
If I roll start the engine runs great. Is there a relay
that is failing to pick up? After I changed the fuel filter
it ran briefly from the key start. thank you for any
infomation.

I'm not really familiar with the Kioti line, but....

There is a relay which releases fuel pressure and causes the engine to stop when you shut off the key. It sounds like yours is not operating right.

I would be looking for a loose connection or poor ground first though before trying to replace it.

I have had a lot machines with thousands of hours on them, and I can't remember ever having one fail. Several times the wiring to them has given some grief though.

Best of luck. ....

Glad we could help.

The track is a bear, if you have a manual, just follow the procedure for replacing a track. Generally speaking, if the track is worn enough it comes off, it needs replacing.

Best of luck. ....
