I was talking with a dealer, not JD, yesterday and picked up some questions. He had heard that the smaller 4100 was out of China. As we have discussed I think now it is a Yanmar Japan manufacture. I had thought all the tractors were produced in GA. Is this true for the new 4110 and 4010?
He also stated that Yanmar is divesting itself of JD and JD was going to be supplied with parts out of China. Has anyone looked at the plates on the new JD's?
I know miss information abounds, like old wives tales. He satted he got this from the other dealers. Any truth?

I think you have gotten some really bad info. 4100, 4010, 4110, and 4115 are all manufactured in Japan by Yanmar. Yanmar and JD are not divorcing, rather they are building a transaxle factory together along with Kanzaki in SC. The final assembly of these models is completed at the Augusta, GA factory where the rest of the 4x10 series tractors are manufacted. Hope this clears this up. ....

Thanks JDNY;
I doubted the validity as I hope I made clear. I expressed doubt to the dealer but did not want to say for certain unless I had checked it out or heard from someone that knew.
