hinomoto E204 charging problems

I have a Hinomoto E204 that will not charge. I have checked connectons/battery, everything ok, but not charging.
any thought where to start at!!

Probably in the Hinomoto forum, but I suppose there's little difference between the Japanese and Chinese charging system. Have you tested the specific gravity? the output of the alternator? If you're not sure how, it might be simpler to simply test for voltage difference at the battery. With the engine off, check the voltage between the battery's positive post and ground. Then start the engine and do it again. An increase of up to two volts means the charging system is working. No change means either the battery isn't taking the charge, or the alternator isn't providing one
