Looking for feed back on Daewoo (Doosan) excavator. Model "solar 55v" if I have my numbers correct. Machine in mind is about 6 years old. Am considering one but know next to nothing about this brand. Any feed back is appreciated. kt

Based on what we have discussed Kenny I think that would likely be good size for you. Machines of that size are very capable. It looks very similar to a Deere or Kubota to me. Is it plunmbed for a tool at the bucket---like the rotary cutter you want? If not, find out from the dealer what all the parts will cost to do that properly, otherwise it could be costly to install afterward. ....

Their smaller equipment I have not seen much of around here. But their bigger excavators and off road trucks--- plenty. They have a good reputation IMHO. Really any Asian mfg does---and you know this the Motor City. Funny though contractors aren't as finickey when it comes to Buy American. We have the mentality--give me quality at a good price. I would see where the nearset dealer to you is if you need little things like special hoses or filters. ....
