1974 belarus as250 3point hitch lift and steering problem
i've had this tractor for about 4 years now and ever since i've owned it, there's been a problem with the lift..it use to work pretty good when it was first started but after about 10 minutes of use it would barely pick up the attachment. now it seems to be getting worse. doesn't want to lift attachments up much when first started. i've checked fluid, seems to be plenty, also last time i used it i was doing some bushhogging and the steering seem to be getting harder to turn. this tractor has two lines running to the steering column, i assume these are hydro lines, anyone have any suggestions? thanks in advance

I wouldn't know a Belarus if it fell on me, but some tractors have an internal fine-mesh screen that you undo access plates to remove. If that's what it is and you find it and it's similar to those on Yanmars, pull it out carefully, noting how it goes in and where any O-ring is (inspect for needing replacement), clean it in kerosine or diesel, examine for imperfections, and put back.
My manual calls for this service (drain, replace external filter, clean internal one, new fluid) every 300 hours. Maybe it's never been done on yours. ....
