I have 96 6x4 diesel same exact problem, same red wire with black tracer. Haven't had a chance to chase it down. Would appreciate any help.

I have used my JS46 mower twice in a small lawn, maybe 3 hours total. There are a few obstructions like landscape timbers. The last time I used it i heard a rattle and noticed that one end of the fromt axle was loose. I killed the mower and tilted it up - the plastic retainer holding the axle had broken. Ie other side was damaged and came off also. A $500 dollar mower with the axle held on with 15 cent plastic retainers? My first and lasyt John Deere. It goes back to Lowe's as soon as I can make the trip. <br>

UI may have bumped the wheels against something, but if that's all it took - what a cheap piece of junk.

I had my eye on a 1500, then reality set in. My trailer will not haul one. When I added up the cost of the 1500, a trailer, a bush hog, a disk, and a new truck to pull it. I was out of the tractor business. An 1110d is an older model and more the size of a lawn tractor. I was just hoping and wishing. My old JD 110 with a Kohler 8 HP and 4 speed is OK, I just want a real tractor.

Don't get me wrong! That JD110 will do about as much work as the 2N Ford I used to have. I owuld just like a Diesel with a more responsive and dependable lift than the old Ford. My JD has a manual lift hitch that is a BEAR with a bottom plow.

From bestoldman the tiller you are looking at may be a 2000rpm drive shaft configuration.If it is adapting it would be expensive.

add to my erliear post John DEERE probably had complaints of to agresive hydro. pedles and are trying to correct the problem.

Yes you can straighten the auger, but you have to have a hidraulic press. MAny of your local dealers, "John Deere""Kabota" etc... should have the equipment to do it. It may require cutting part of the flighting out to straighten it. good dealer will have personel who can do this.

Are you running onroad or offroad fuel?
How did your engine react after a cold startup? Did you have any missing or popping at high RPM? Did your dealer check crack pressure on the nozzles? I'm asking all these questions out of thee blind. I need a complete description of how the tractor runs after on minute warm up time at full throttle. Does your tractor smoke for more than one minute? If not depending on outside temperature at idle it will smoke white for several minutes. Most of the time you can eliminate this problem by bringing the idle Rpm up to about 12 to 1300RPM.

TodH from bestoldman. Ran Kioti last year, very crude, and very slow. Long tractor, hard to find dealers for. Suggest JD 4600 or larger, or Kubota same size or larger. JD 5100 would be a good choice.
