Hi,<br>
I have a new 2210 and have a question on how warm the hydrostatic transmission temperature should be. After the first cut, I noticed that the hydrostatic transmission was rather warm. Is this normal, or is there something going on with my machine. The fluid level is showing full.<br>

I just finalized the deal on my soon to be new JD 2210. I'm getting the 2210 tractor w/turf tires, 62" MMM, FEL w/53" bucket & level indicator. Cost is $12,900 NE Ohio.

Wow, $11,019 for a 2210, FEL, and 62"? MMM. The closest I could get to that was $12,800, and that dealer went out of business. The current price I can get is $13,000.

I would replace the nut if you can with a nylon lock nut. It's the type of nut typically used in aircraft installations. Overall it is a metal nut with a nylon insert. It should not back out. You should find this at a good hardware store like True Value or any other one which has a large selection of fastners.
