I just bought a jd 1050 with a #75 loader it works great. I have the manual for the loader. If you need any specs just reply.

thank for responding. It whines in all gears. The higher the gear the louder the whine. It has 2700hrs. Sounds like it is in the lower part of the tranny. I tried shifting into 4wd and hi and low range it is still there. It only makes the noise when tractor is moving, more so when under power or using engine to slow down tractor. I really thankyou for your help.

A local dealer is selling an used New Holland TC33D, 4 WD, and bucket with 650 hours for $14,500. Is this a good price???

thanks guys, good points. I thought a Hydrostatic trannie would be the better choice due to ease of use. What is the reason for choosing the Wet clutch style trans? is it more durable? more capable with lower gears ?
I don't plan on performing major work with my future tractor, I intend on catering to the "smaller" guys. But I want it to perform well all around with maybe the occasional extreme task or two. I would assume snow blowing is fairly hard on the machine as well. right?

I have a JD4200 tractor and from day 1, i noticed that the 3pt hitch hisses when lifting. This is my first tractor and I was wondering if this was normal. The fluid level is fine and it lifts the implements without any problem. Just wondering if I have a problem.<br>Thanks <br>

A 4ft is recommended for the 4100. I recently purchased a 513 for my 4200 and paid $785. The 413 was aroung $725.

A 5' is probably going to be the largest. I also have a 4200 with a JD 513 rotary cutter and it handles it fine.<br>

I have had the same problem with power loss. I brought it back to the Dealer. They checked out the injectors, changed the fuel filter and was unable to find a problem. This was occuring when the tractor was new to around 15 hours. I have a little more than 30 on it now and haven't had the problem since. Please let me know if you get an answer to this problem.<br>Thanks

I was reading another post from a new user that when the pto is disengaged on the rotary cuutter, the blades slam together. Mine also does this but I had no idea that there was a neutral. I read the manual or so I thought. Could someone please let me know the proper way to engage/disengage the PTO.<br>Thanks

I have recently purchased a JD 4200hydro and have two questions.<br>-I have heard that the parking brake tends to stick. I think that mine does at times because when traveling in high range, as I increase speed my RPM's start to drop. I stop and apply the release the parking brake and the problem goes away. I spoke to my salesman and has not heard of this problem. Any comments would be appreciated.<br>-The first time that i used my tractor with the 5ft bush hog, the 3pt hitch would drop about an inch and then lift again. It did this for about 20 min. and then quit. My fluid levels are fine. My salesman said that sometimes the seals are not seated well and this may happen until they do. Has not happened since. Any comments on this would also be appreciated.<br>Thanks<br>
