Hi Bart, I'm looking into buying a 4400 sometime next year. I have been watching three tractor forums for over a year and gathering diff. price of JD 4000 series. From what I've seen that price is about 1K or a little more high. This is assumming it is 4wd. I am planing on paying around 17,500 for a 4400 with 4wd, mid and rear pto, dscv, folding rops and R-4 tires. The 430 loader will be around 2900. and other implements will be extra.Hope this helps,David ....

In March of this year paid $18025 for 4200 hydro, 4WD, mid pto, 60" mid mower, 420 loader, turf tires. Dealer gave me a new ballast box so I figure he had enough profit built in. This was before the big demand on all the Deere hydros, so ... supply and demand has probably kicked in and they may not come off their price. Deliveries on new hydros are several months out, so if you can't wait (like I couldn't if I were you), have your dealer get on his computer and find one for you. They ARE out there if your dealer is willing to look. Good luck! You'll love it once you get it. ....
