Thanks for the info. The 4115 is a great tractor, just would like to have a little more power or a little less price. My JD dealer is very proud of his and is about $1500 higher than the Kubota guy up the road when comparing a 4115 to a 2910. Honestly, they make a very nice living off of commerical mowers sales and repairs rather than tractors (we have a lot more golf courses then farms in North Atlanta!) and really seem to care less. Nice folks just not very hungry.

Looking for a after market power steering kit for an 850 JD. I have tried the dealer and they no longer make the kit. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked at the JD 4115 and really like the size but did not like the price. With the same equipment it was right at $20,000, which was only about $300 cheaper than the 4315. If I am going to spend that kind of money I would get the 4315. The 4115 was 24 hp, the 790 was 27 hp and the 4315 was 32 hp. Not sure how JD prices those things. The 4315 looks to me like the best deal for the money if I wanted a larger tractor. The 4115 seems to be in the same class as the Kubota B2910 and I can get one of those with a loader and rotary cutter form about $17,000. Have not really looked at the B2910 closely but from what I have been able to read they seem similar. Any major differences?

Correct, my 850 does not have 4wd or a FEL. It also does not have power steering. I'm getting ready to retire and want something that handles a little easier and will be more usefull to me. I looked at adding power steering and a FEL to the 850 but the cost seemed high (about $5000 from the dealer). I was also told I really need a 4wd with a FEL. Never had one before but could sure use one now.
