My hydrostatic transmission runs the hydraulics too but I have had real good luck with the oil from NAPA. They can normally match up an oil for you. Just my two cents.

Use what your owners manual calls for.
There are dozens of "Will fit" oils and filters around for less than the factory brand. Problem is not all the "Will fits" have the additive package specific to whatever type wet clutches, wet brakes, water absorption capabilitys, winter flow spces. etc.
The factory oils and filters are high dollar but repairs are higher dollar.

As Wal Marts products do vary from region to region and time to time my answer is vague also. My local Wal Mart did sell as good of diesel synthetic oil as there is and also sold a very good none synthetic hyd oil. That was a year or so back and before that their products were well, not that great. About same for TSC here also. They have some of the best and then they have some products I certainly pass on. As Hardwod said be sure what ever brand you buy meets your machine's specs.

I'm not trying to sell NAPA brand or anything but when I bought my oil filters from my local store I asked about the specs on the oils and the filters. The NAPA guy told me that their filters and oils meet or exceed OEM requirments. I've been happy with the hydrostatic/transmission oil. I did switch over to Schaeffer motor oils in all my autos and in the tractor. ....

NAPA and meeting specs: just realize all companies don't have the same specs. You really need to know your machine specs as even they change with a brand or model over time. ....

What's the owner manual say to use?
My blue TC33D which is what half the size of yours takes Ambra 231 which is a New Holland spec'd oil. BUT the local Autozone carries it as a hydraulic fluid---just read the info on the container.
My yellow (atcually a blue also) skid steer manual says to use 10W-30 motor oil for the chain cases and as the hydraulic fluid. ....
