Have a JD 870 which I just bought used with 170hrs. Just noted that the power steering piston has a small weep hole on top near the ram and weeps out a little hydraulic fluid on hard turns, that is , at full steering wheel stop. Doesn't happen all the time ,but enough to cause a drip now and again. Does any one know what this hole is for and is it normal for a little hydraulic fluid to come out? Speaking of hydraulic fluid, the manual calls for JDMJ20b and my local farm store handles j20a,c. Anyone know the difference and is the j20a,c ok to use in a jd870, 1997?
