Can I use B-12 Chemtool to try and start my AS 250? If so where do I spray it since it doesn't have a carburator?

What ever you do make sure you do not use pre heaters if equipped.
WD 40 has oils in it that will help not dry out the cylinders.

Don't use that to start it.
You could toast you motor real easy.
if you do be careful to keep the rpms low
and fully choke it ...then zero the choke out
very slowly.
thx
Good luck

(Diesels don't have chokes.)
Why don't you troubleshoot the starting problem, for instance, sufficiently fast spinning, fuel and air delivery, injectors, compression, valve adjustment. ....

I second that motion. Unless your engine came with the factory with chemically-assisted starting, you should be spending your time trying to figure out WHY you find it necessary to use starting fluid. It's a bad idea to get an engine "hooked" on starting fluid.
basic
Otherwise healthy diesels only need two things to start, fuel and air. Make sure the fuel is clean and flowing properly, and that the engine is breathing properly. You could be looking at something as simple as dirt; dirty air filter, dirty injectors, dirty fuel, clogged fuel filter. And since we don't hand-crank diesels anymore, think electrical; weak or inoperative glow plugs, low voltage to otherwise good GPs, weak battery. And the list goes on.

I've already changed the fuel filter, primed the fuel pump, new crankcase oil, checked for water in the fuel, cleaned the air filter, and charged the battery.
Not mechanically inclined so don't know how to check if the fuel is flowing properly, engine breathing properly, check if injectors are dirty and how to check if glow plug is good?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Vince
