Would like information on Yanmar dealers in North Dakota. Wondering if local John Deere dealer can order a engine short block or rebuild kit. Engine started knocking. Prefer to go with a short block. If anyone can assist me in locating a dealer, please leave message. Thanks

If you can't find a dealer locally , I can help you . I'm a dealer in n. IL. The parts come out of the Chicago area . A block with sleeves is around $1000 . I'd be more inclined to believe it is bearing knock . Turning the crank & putting in new bearings would be a lot cheaper than a short block. ....

Speaking of short blocks, since you can put your finger on a Yanmar, can you also find one for a Ford 1910, and if so would the cost be in the same price rrange? The local New Holland dealer told me $1,500. ....
