 Yanmar 155d loader installation

Can any one tell me the proper way of installing a loader to this tractor, as far as hydraulics are concerned.
How do I connect into the hydraulic system, do I use a open or closed valve,do I need to add additional hydraulic oil
capacity etc.The lift cylinders are 2" x 23" single action
and 1 2" x 12" bucket cylinder.
Thank You, Dean S.

Use an open center valve. If it doesn't have a block in the pressure line to attach remotes to, cut the line by fuel filter , use compression or braze fittings to fasten to line, connect valve in series with 3 point. Contact sheaftractor@coiinc.com or 815-284-3226, if you need more details.

Many modern compacts are equipped with a hydraulic manifold/diverter block that provides ports for an auxiliary system to power loaders etc. If 155D's have one it could be found be tracing the high-pressure line from the pump. If the line goes into the cases before finding a block that has two plugged ports and probably a slot-screw control for the diverter valves then a tap has to be made. Modifications such as brazing probably should be done by a hydraulics shop.

You should understand power-beyond before purchasing valves etc. There are a bunch of discussions in the archives. A power-beyond valve has two return lines, one of which goes directly to the sump, so a port in the cases that can accept a hose fitting needs to be found. Power-beyond valves are the most common found on modern loader applications. To do without power-beyond, a valve assembly should have exhaust galleys rated for the tractor's system hydraulic pressure. The issue has to do with high pressures on a loader valve that might result if the 3ph and a loader valve were operated simultaneously.

If after-market valves are used, it's a good idea to get valves with a rated gpm capacity close to the tractor's pump rating. Valves with high gpm ratings are very large and might be difficult to mount. Actually, valve mounting might be the most difficult problem unless a factory kit is available. Some after-market valve assemblies are designed for either open or closed centered use and are shipped with a plug that must be removed for open centered use.
