sound like he is makeing twice the profit on the same unit maybe more/did he originally sell it the first time???
I paid $5000 for mine in 2002.Installed when I bought my tractor new. Go to another dealer and look at a woods get a quote and work the best deal.
I do like the quick mounting of the set up and if you go to a another hoe get a subframe mounted one !!!!!
The 7 series hoe has little power in the (swing) of the boom, just enough to move it with a load in the bucket,it has one presure port with two cylinders acting as one/cross feed/

thanks for the info. I have the price down to $5,200. After 4 mos of looking (ebay, machinefinder, tractorhouse, etc)I have not found anything in this price range and condition. I guess the problem is I am trying to justify based on renting vs owning. Any comments on the same or more experience with the JD 7 hoe would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again! ....
