I tried to purchase a snow blower for my 1953 Ford Golden Jubilee. The Dealer informed me that he has one but my tractor is not suited to handle it.
He said that the reverse on the tractor is too fast and
the tractor would be going too fast and infact pushing instead throwing the snow.
Can anyone comment on this, or if any one successfully used a snow blower on this model I would appreciate the information.

You should thank your local dealer for being honest and not just selling you anything he can. I believe he is correct! ....

I'm not familar with the old Fords but think the PTO stops on the Jubilee when you depress the clutch. So if you attempted to go in reverse and more or less ride the clutch, the blower would stop each time not getting a chance to clear out. This is kinda hard on the clutch also. I think your dealer is correct since running the PTO at correct/optimal speed, the tractor would be going quite fast in reverse. I don't think you have several reverse gears. Looks like a blade is the best option! ....
