Looking for a John Deere blower to fit a 420. Have checked
local dealer for some time now with no luck. What can I expect to pay for such an item? And how wide are these units?

I'm sure the model 47 would work. They are 47" wide. Not sure what you should expect to pay. Whatever you buy, get a two stage unit. ....
