Pete- I own a B1700 with a 5 foot Woods back blade. The tractor handles it just fine, and in fact could most likely take a 6 footer. It moves snow great, but don't expect it to level dirt like a construction vehicle- what I find is that the tractor is so light that bumps in hard dirt lift the blade rather than the blade leveling it off in one pass.Good luckPaul ....
