I have a 20hp Iseki 1610 and am not sure what size of 3 pt tiller is right for this tractor. Is a 58" tiller too big for this tractor?

In most soils yes. A smaller one under 40" with offset to fit the tractor width on one side. ....

I have a 20 hp and use a 52 inch tiller, as long as I plow first and don't expect the tiller to dig thru hard packed sod I don't have any trouble.

Just remember PTO HP is the significant power rating, not gross engine HP. ....

And yor Iseki 1610 is 16HP at the PTO, contrary to whoever sold you the tractor said the gross engine HP is... ....
