I'M thinking about getting a 5 ft Rototiller for the garden.lots of hard soil although getting better. My garden is on a slope and my 38 inch tiller on my Lawn and Garden gets moved around by the tines (Hydro 18hp Duetz-Allis)and it also drifts down hill as I till.any recommendations on Brand I want good tilling, with price a secondary consideration? Landpride;Kubota,TSC Korn King; Woods?

I had a Landpride RTA3576 for several years but sold it when we moved away from the farm. It was a good load for my deere 4310, but your Kobota would handle it well. I just don't even lok at anything other than Landpride anymore, they build good equipment, they cost a bit more, but you just never have anything go wrong and when I sold the tiller I guess I sold it too cheap, I asked the man 2750. and he said sold. Frank. ....

Bought a King Kutter 5' tiller at TSC on sale last spring for $1000. No problems. I've had good luck with my KK finish mower, too. It now has about 500 hours on it with no problems.

I figure for my use (just a few hours a year) my tiller will last forever.

Good luck,
Bill ....
