I just borrowed a 6' box blade from a dealer to see how it would work. All he had was 6'. Not having any expierience with box scrappers i elected to try it. It seems to work all right ,but it will stop the machine in some conditiones. What I am more concerned about is damage to the tractor. Is it overkill ,should I get a smaller one, has anyone had any expierience with these.Input is appreciated.

I use a 5' rear blade(not a box) and the only problems I have at times are traction! ....

I use 4 ft also with 4100 and it I believe is ideal. In hard clay, I use only 2 ripper teeth at a time but did put a ~100 lb weight on the box so it bites and scrapes harder. Wouldn't go any bigger than a 4 footer. ....
