Alternator Help

I have a SuZue 150 and the alternator appears to charge , But the light stays on all the Time..

I was thinking of changing over to a Gm Alternater with the built in regulator, has anyone done this????

I must of had a problem with the idiot lights I replaced the holders with new ones and now it works fine... ....
