First, thanks to those who replied to my post "stuck in pto".
I saw a post about cup holders for a tc33d. I managed to make a satisfactory one from find at WalMart. They sell a hard plastic holder called "Delux Back Seat, Drink and Meal Holder". I think it was around $5.00. I removed the slow moving vehicule sign and left the upright just behind the tool box. The plastic meal holder will sit on the tool box and can be secured by streatch hooks. Even better, you can secure it by two screws thru the upright for the sign into the plastic but you will have to remove the screws to open the tool box. You could of course use wing nuts.
Hope this is clear. Works good so far. Farmdog

DOUBLE STICK VELCRO (HEAVY DUTY BRAND) YOU NEED A CROWBAR TO REMOVE. I SET MINE ON THE ROLL BAR FENDER MOUNT. THE SPIDER FRAME OPENING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CUP HOLDER FITS OVER THE BOLT.....HOLDS THE BUDWEISER PERFECT FOR THOSE DUSTY GRASS CUTTING DAYS.

I heard a decent idea along the same lines but for a different problem. Somebody cut a length of large plastic drainpipe and put them on a ROPS vertical with plastic tie straps. He had caps at each end and the bottom one was glued on. Reportedly it works great for screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, link pins, top-link adjusters etc.

It seems like I end up walking back to the shed or truck quite a few times for these sorts of things. If I had a longer walk, the aggravation would be enough for me to make one. For me, something like that might be preferable to a tool box, which tend to create their own inconveniences.

Jim, you may need to be careful with what you have in your beverage holder. About ten years ago I was mowing my yard with a cool Miller Lite in attempt to cut the dust from my throat when a car with a middle aged women pulled into the driveway. This was not at all unusual in that I live along a busy highway and people are always lost or runnig out of gas. The lady rolled down her window and motioned me to come to her. I assumed she must have been disabled due to the fact she wanted me to stop mowing and come to her car. I shut the tractor down and walked to the car. She in a very polite manner asked me if I was consuming alcohol while I was mowing. I told her that I had a beer. She was polite but gave me a lecture on the evils of operating machinery while consuming alcohol. I thanked her (not very politely) for her advice and she left. The do-gooders are everywhere, so be careful.

Great idea about velcro. Velcro, duct tape and stretch hooks, anything is possible
