Go Bottomcruise control on my tc45d not working

The crusie control on my TC45D does not work. The light on the switch works but the crusie control does not engage. Does anyone know how solve this problem?

If it's anything like my TC33D, it uses an electromagnet in the form of a puck that sticks to a steel pad directly under the steering wheel (think: electric trailer brake principle). You might have a broken cable end at the magnet or buildup of debris and/or oils that prevent it from sticking.
Might be a blown fuse too even though the light works. ....

I had trouble with mine on my NH1530. It would not engage, or then it would stick.
I had the puck replaced and it now has worked normally ever since.
