How many of you owners out there are aware that the TC40 (at least my DA's) have an aux power port (cigarette lighter type)?? I have 2 of these units and only yesterday found this neat little feature while cleaning things up while awaiting return of the dump truck to load. It is located on the floor pan behind the seat and in front of the fuel tank. It is covered by a black rubber cap with a raised grip. At first I thought it was a vent for the differential so I looked under to follow the hose and found wires attached. That led to pulling out the cap to discover the outlet.
Only place this is covered in the manual is buried in the wiring schematics - no mention whatsoever that I could find anywhere else. Don't know what ohter TC models have this feature but it's worth a look. Endless uses - cell phone charges, cd/dvd players, spotlights, etc.

You mean I did not show you this when I delivered it? All the DA tractors TZ and TC regardless of frame size has this feature ....

You delivered the 2nd one, and since I already had one we didn't spend any time going over the features. It wasn't pointed out on delivery of the first unit. Any other things I should know???
How's the new job - miss the old one yet? ....

That is true about the second one.
Funny thing about the new job. I QUIT!! on Tuesday. Turns out when he promised me the world he only delivered MUD. Yes I do miss the dealership now. They are by far the best place to work and it was a big mistake to leave. ....
