Before I bug the dealer. Does any one else have similar problem. I have a NH TC33D with HST, I have to Strong-arm the lever to get it into range Yes I put the clutch in. I found that if I 'pump' the clutch twice it will shift reasonable easy

I sometimes run into hard shifts with my TC 33 D , Woodie. There was a thread on this site about this same thing a few weeks ago, you might want to do a search or look on the New Holland board. You do not need to use the clutch to change hydro ranges, only to engage the PTO's and 4x4. Just tap lightly on the forward/reverse petal, then try the hydro lever again, it should slip right in. Seems like these tractors have to be almost perfectly dead center in nutral on the petal to shift ranges smoothly. Happy tractoring :). ....
