Hi me and my wife justed bought a new house. I now have 5 acres to mow and landscaping to do. I need a small tractor t odo this with. Tonight on the way home I saw a Mitsubishi D1500FD for sale for $3,500. I comes with a rear blade. I don't know much about compact tractors, and was wondering if this machine would work for me? I have to be able to mount a FEL on it. It has Ag tires so I would need to get a set of R4's for it. Any thoughts???

Check pto rotation. Aloader can be mounted , but rear brackets will probably have to be fabricated. I'm giving a 20% discount on Kelley & Koyker loaders. Also handle Allied which has a cheaper list price. sheaftractor@coiinc.com ....

3 years ago, I bought an 1850D for my new house and seven acres (Needs were similar). Paid $3500 with suitcase weights. I didn't make a mistake. It runs great, implements are readily available, and plenty of people on the web to help with breakdowns (hopefully that won't happen). Front end loaders can be found at Homestead Tractors (www.hstractor.com). They make a FEL for your tractor and a good price. ....
