What type of oil & how much to chage hydraulic oil. Is it the same as the transmission oil? How do I check level? Just bought it & no manual

If you have a front end loader installed, use a quality tractor hydraulic oil copmpatible with JD type 303. If no external hydraulic implement is installed use 80w90 gear oil per manufacture's recommendation. Check the level on the left side of the transmission. Just behind the pto speed selector you'll find a bolt. Remove it. When the oil flows out you have enough. Bill - satohparts.com ....
