Has anyone broken the trans filter on a CG2310? I am going to put a skid plate on mine now.

I talked to Massey Ferguson about this and they said their engineers designed a skid plate for the hydro unit but it affected the cooling of the unit so for warranty purposes they never offered the skid plate. I don't know why you couldn't make one and perforate it for good airflow.

Thanks I didn't think about the air flow will have to modify my plans. Maybe put a piece of 6" well cassing around the filter. ....
