while operating massey ferguson 1240 compact tractor i realized that the rear wheels weren't driving. tried the differential lock, still no drive from rear wheels. when in 4 wheel drive the front wheels drive, the rear wheels don't. in 2 wheel drive nothing happens at all. anybody had this problem? my guess is the pinion gear.
