Go Bottombx2200 steering problem

I have a bx2200 purchased in 2002. My brother in law purchased one at the same time. This year we started having problems with the tractor not holding a straight line while mowing. We contacted our dealer only to fine out he wasn't a kubota dealer anymore. He did however say there was a service bulletin on this issue. Supposedly bx2200 kubota's in a certain serial number range has defective parts (or parts that wear out too soon). Has anyone else had this problem and did kubota take care of this since it seems to be a defect in workmanship. Any help would be appreciated.

Will it still be covered even though the warranty has expired. I looked at my receipt this morning, tractor was purchased in 2001 instead of 2002. ....

Don't discount the posibility you may have uneven tire pressure. This could be a cuase. I am sure you checked it but if they are off a few pounds on each side that will cause it to pull to one side. I have a BX2200 2001 and have had no problems other than leaky tires on one side to cause exactly what you mention. ....

i have a 2000 bx 2200 with steering issues on 2nd steering unit. the first was replaced under warrenty. has anyone found ways to repair the steering unit ....

The steering cylinder is bad. The cylinder gets worn or not machined right or rust and fliud passes around the piston seal. ....
