My mid-mount mower deck will not stay in the up position. When I position the control up it immediately starts to move down. I adjusted the back nuts, but it continues to move down.

You have a different problem then what the adjustment you have made will deal with. Talk to your dealer as you have a problem with the valve or cylinder leaking by. ....
