I need to get a new starter for my B6000 but can not find one .
does anyone know a part that will work?

It depends on what's wrong with the starter of course, but an electric motor shop can rebuild the electro-mechanical parts on most any starter. The drive gear would be more of a problem.
I think there are a number of models in the 6000 series. They may not all have the same starters. Alternatively, starters may not be supplied as entire assemblies. Separate parts numbers for motor, solenoid and drive may be needed. Different models may use the same motor but different sub-assemblies.
What I’m saying is that these searches sometimes turn into part number exercises. It would be good to know the parts numbers for main and sub-assemblies rather than just the tractor model, especially if resorting to salvage yards. A dealer should be able to help with parts numbers if they couldn’t help with a factory part.

I have not been able to get a part number or a source for a new starter. If you can help it would be greatly appriciated.
The tractor is a B-6000
