Kubota BX 22

I have just bought an Kubota BX 2200, nice machine, but there is something wrong with the HST.
When I start on an incline in high range the hydrostatic transmission makes the tractor go like a Kenguru, and the forward and backwards pedal start to "kick back" or pulse.
The tractor stop completely and i have to put it in low range. There is also a loud noise from a valve or something the oil passes thru.
This has no effect on the engine RPM
I was planning to use this tractor for snowplowing and rototilling, I dont think the machine has the power to do anything in this condition.
I have changed oil and filter, and cleaned the metal screen. All this looked ok, no metal fragments in the oil or filters.

Any suggestions ?
The three point and power steering is ok.

kj - You need to give that problem to the dealer. I had similar problem when my BX23 that made a horrible noise then stopped. Would not go forward or backwards with out stailing tractor all this happened while I was going down hill with a front loader full of dirt. All hydros worked and used the backhoe to pull it up onto the trailer. I found out the transmission gone and had to have it replaced. ....

Thanks for reply, I hope not my trans is totally broken !
An expert is testing it this weekend, measuring oil pressure etc.
I cross my fingers and hope for the best... ....

My problem is bigger than that, the machine has trouble to drive also in low gear without a load...
....

It might be what is called the charge pump in the hydro IF it's the type that uses small pistons arranged in a ring. The hcrage pump keeps constant pressure or "charges" the the pistons to seat against the mechanicals in the pump. If it is not working right, the pistons rattle around inside and won't develop pressure. ....
