Go BottomL35 4x4 problems

I have a 2001 L35 and went to load some gravel and the 4x4 wasn't working. I usaly use 4x2 for pavment and 4x4 for dirt. The lever moves smothly but doesn't engage the 4x4. Any ideas would be great, Thanks

Did you locate and check the linkage assy from lever to tranny?

check the linkage going into the transmission as the only easy repair would be a roll pin on the shaft going in. ....
