I'm looking at a used 1998 Kubota U-45 excavator. Anyone know where I'll be able to obtain parts and/or service manual for it?

I believe that is a grey market unit and it is not recognized by Kubota in this country. The american system doesn't support those for parts or service information. You might find an individual importer that might be able to help you for parts and information and service. ....
