I have found two different engine oil filters for my BX23 both are Kubota part #’s one is a smaller filter Part # 15853-32430 and the other is Part # 70000-74034 and this filter is a little bit larger. I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this? And is there any difference between the two?

Are you sure one isn't for the hydraulic system? When I did my 50 hr. service, one of the filters was bigger than the other, I think the hydraulic oil filter was the larger one.
Also, are these Kubota filters, or equivalents from some other manufacturer?

Both filters are functionally the same. One is made in Japan, the other here in the US (I don't remember which). Both will work fine on your tractor, but, of course the larger one would be the preferred one for more capacity and more filter media. ....
