I am looking to purchase either a 110 deere or L48 kubota and would like some opinions on the better machine. It will be fitted with a backhoe for a small construction co. Servicability, dependability etc,

A local rental yard has tried a recent experiment. They bought a Kubota and a Deere at the same time. Have both equiped with loader and backhoe. In the last six months, the Deere has been in the shop three times. Kubota - zero.
Form your own impression. If you really want to know which is best, contact a rental yard that has both machines in stock. These get real abuse from people who have no business driving tractors but do it anyway. If a tractor can survive that - they can survive anything. ....

I have been told the same from a friend of mine
who has a rental shop. He has only Cat. heavy
equipment and got rid of two Cub Cadet CUT
and went to Kubota. Said the Cubs were always
coming back with filter ripped off? Just his
opinion. I have never owned a cub. I will refer
all responses to my atty. ....

Figure a pan for the bottom of the Deere to keep the lines in tack. They look really nice the way they are under the tractor, they have caused a lot of trouble when getting into low ground clearance situations. The L-48 is a bit more machine than the 110 much the same as the L-35 being a little smaller yet. ....
