Looking at purchasing JD855, it has no mower, I want to put a belly mower on it, dealer says their no longer available,is this true? Or can I get one throug J.D./

You could try other Dealers, but reckon you won't have much luck finding a new one in the Deere inventory.

Might try Machinefinder.com to look for a used one. ....
