Hi all, I have a Kubota b8200 from the early 80s (I think) that is in need of an engine. The engine I have has no numbers that are readable, so I don't know what engine to look for, or what engine will interchange with the one that is in there. Any help so I can start looking for the right engine will be appreciated.

Try looking at the block on the right side towards the rear just below the head or around the injection pump. Both places will be machined down flat and have a letter then #s like D700 or something like that. If not machined on the block on the right side look for raised model in the casting. A dealer should have a book that has the model of the engine for that model of tractor in it, sevice manual, quick referance book. ....
