WOULD A 72" WIDE JOHN DEER MID MOUNT MOWER DECK FROM AN 970 MODEL FIT ON A 4300 MODEL?

No, the mower deck linkage,lift system and pto shaft positions are different for the mower decks on a 970 and a 4300. ....
