Thanks, Jack. I appreciate the info. Is the problem the hoe itself - can't have it and the mower attached or is it the subframe. If the subframe, does it go on and off easily enough to be ok for casual usage? ....

The subframe and the midmount deck would physically interfere if you tried to mount both at the same time. For casual use mounting the backhoe with subframe is practical. ....

Thanks - sounds like the way I will go. I like the mid-mount mower because of the number of obstacles in my lawn (and I already have it). Backhoe operation will come in spurts. ....

Check out a Woods 6500 they will fit with the loader on. ....
