Dual Stage Clutch for JD670

I've a 1990 JD 670 with a single stage clutch. Per the manual, a dual stage clutch (allowing the rear PTO to stay "live") was an option.
Although not a high priority, I am interested if anyone know if the changeover can be made, and at what cost (assuming a dealer does it...figure $25.00/hr rates).
