JD 4200 front axle bearing

I have about 115 hours on my 4200, do lots of loader and hoe work with it. Noticed a slight clicking around the right hub around 80 hours. Mostly noticeable when carrying load. Dealer pulled bearing and found it too be faulty. JD replacements are all on backorder across the country. This bearing has been being replaced on others as well. May want to keep an eye/ear out for it on your machines.

It's ironic the axle bearings on a 4200 would have problems. The front and rear end on these tractors seem huge for their weight and horsepower. My 790 front and rear end look like toothpicks in comparison. ....
